There Will Be No Surprises With Our Level of Care!

We want every resident to feel at home

Our Mission

At New Haven, our goal is to enhance the quality of life of our residents through our supportive assisted living services, physical wellness programs, and creative social interaction. We aspire to make all our residents feel at home and like a part of our family. We believe in providing lots of love and laughter through our companionship. Our caregivers not only strive to help with everyday tasks but want to develop a caring relationship with every resident. We strive to provide one-on-one attention and care that cannot be beat!

Our Process

At New Haven we seek to set ourselves apart by having State licensed facilities in small settings that offer affordable care to all. We aim to provide a blend of care and activity that meets all our resident’s unique needs. Our homes offer:

  • A smaller, more relaxed setting so each of our residents can receive personalized care. Many of our residents’ comment on how they love being a part of a small knit community and how our staff can quickly respond to their needs.
  • Homes that were created with our residents in mind. We strive to provide an environment that gives residents the feeling of being at home. Not only are our homes newly updated but they have reading nooks, viewing areas, and comfortable furniture.
  • Highly trained staff who are on-site 24-hours a day and who love what they do! We believe that having around the clock care is the best way to protect and care for our residents. All of our staff are highly trained on our policy and protocols and are thoroughly interviewed to make sure they have a passion for serving others.
  • Top notch meals. We offer a rotating menu plan that offers 3 meals a day along with healthy snacks for our residents. Residents are also free to create their own food if they have a passion for cooking or baking. We believe that having a healthy body and mind starts with nutrition.
  • We offer daily activities to enrich the lives of our residents. A few examples are: board games, cards, arts & crafts, a movie, an exercise workout, or a community concert. He have found that keeping our residents active throughout the day has a huge positive impact on their lives. Our health-first approach is aimed at keeping our residents physically and mentally sharp.
  • A community experience where your family member feels like they are part of our family. Our homes are limited to twenty residents and that gives our staff, managers, and owners the time to get to know each of our residents on a more personal level. We strive to create an atmosphere that is laid back, peaceful, and full of joy!

Four Things To Think About When Placing Your Loved One

1. Does a home provide all things necessary for care through the end of life?

We believe it is important to have the resources needed so that your loved one can stay in our facility and not have to be moved. Therefore, we provide third party in house medical professionals and hospice so that our residents can avoid the stress of moving.

2. Do the people you speak with about the placement of your loved one go the extra mile?

Are they willing to help you in any way they can? Are they willing to direct you on how to navigate through the difficult steps of placing your loved one into an adult care setting? Sometimes the placement process can be frustrating. We understand that and make it our goal to educate you on all your options, our process, and how we can best care for the needs of your loved one.

3. Does the home feel like a place where they could become comfortable and part of the community?

Does the setting allow them to feel like they can have meaningful reactions with staff and other residents in the community? When residents move from their personal home or living with friends and family, that change can sometimes be difficult. We strive to have an inviting setting and a community that feels like family.

4. Are there solutions for the medical and personal needs of my family member?

Can the lead staff members of the home ensure an approach that sees all the needs of my loved one being met? Is family involvement and visitation encouraged? Each of our residents have different physical, mental, and medical needs. The focus of our staff is to find an approach that works best for each resident. We also heavily encourage family visits and involvement. The more that our residents can be with their family and friends, the better!
